Stories for laughing

We Have a Problem With Ottie the Otter

Summary

Ottie the otter is a sweet, playful and energetic character. And she LOVES to slide! The problem is, she loves to slide a little too much…

Ottie is unpredictable. She slides everywhere and on everything. Her friends in the woods have just about had enough of Ottie’s obsession with sliding. They need to find a way to stop her from making such a mess!

In her first venture as an author, illustrator Orbie delivers a work of art that’s part picture book, part comic strip… and laugh-out-loud funny!

Features

  • First and foremost, it’s the pictures that tell the story in this silliest of silly picture books.
  • Every word is chosen with the greatest of care by celebrated illustrator Orbie, now making her author debut.

Reviews

While Ottie the Otter charms us with her silly sliding everywhere, all the time, Orbie wins us over with her rich vocabulary and writing smarts, not to mention the detail she draws our eye to in every illustration and the snippets of information and insight she feeds to readers; nothing is left to chance.
